OVERVIEW

Casaroro Falls

Framed by impressive rock formations covered with moss and other vegetation, the Casaroro Falls form a single, uninterrupted flow of water that plunges into a natural pool at the base.  The pool, with its crystal-clear water, is surrounded by towering cliffs covered in luxuriant foliage.

Apart from enjoying a refreshing swim in the pool, visitors can also swim close to the base of the waterfall, feeling the exhilarating rush of the cascading water.

Casaroro Falls is located nine kilometers away from Dumaguete City and from its jump off point in Valencia, visitors must embark on a 1.5-kilometer hike to reach the waterfalls.  The hike usually lasts around 30 minutes and at some point may need to cross rocky rivers.  A 350-step concrete and metal stairs with metal railings has been installed to help with the 250-meter incline as it is a bit steep and may be challenging to elderly and people who are not physically fit.

But despite the challenging trek, it will all be worth it as it allows you to immerse yourself in the pristine natural surroundings of Casaroro Falls.
